The purpose built manufacturing plant employs batch SSP and vented extrusion technology to change the crystallinity and/or molecular weight of poly-condensable (PET, PBT, PEN etc) and PA polymers to Customer's defined requirements.

Comprehensive storage in silos or customised warehousing facilitates processing scheduling and order servicing
All material is inspected on arrival. Testing may include differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) to accurately determine the polymer thermal characteristics, thereby allowing the optimum processing conditions to be employed.
All materials are processed within sealed, stainless steel proprietary equipment incorporating innovative design and application to meet Customer’s requirements and maintain food contact integrity
Understanding the technology of molecular weight increase is fundamental to this process. PETUK and the parent PETUS have lead the way in batch SSP processing and have pioneered many successful applications.
All material processed is in accordance with our ISO 9001 protocol. Product is released against specification and final testing together with a certificate of conformance.
Processed polymers allow customers to develop new markets by having enhanced physical properties (thermal stability, stiffness, easier processing) for demanding applications and direct food contact approval
